RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Develop and implement business and sales strategies to achieve sales objectives.
• Achieve sales objectives.
• Prepare and present sales quotations and proposals to current and prospective clients.
• Be the account manager for a number of key accounts.
• Promote SAI Global by participating in conferences, seminars, trade exhibitions.
• Identify new industry or market segments and develop the appropriate strategies and relationships to convert these into new business.
• In liaison and cooperation with the Business Manager & Operations Manager, provide appropriate commercial leadership and support to all Client Managers and Auditors, including providing customer services necessary to retain existing clients.
• Provide support to the Sales & Marketing Manager Product Certification in strategic and commercial matters.
• Review SAI Global procedures for customer services, enquiries and sales management to ensure intended outcomes are achieved and, as appropriate, recommend changes.
• In consultation with Sales & Marketing Manager Product Certification, proactively seek ways and means for continually improving the level of Product Certification customer services.
• Advise Sales & Marketing Manager Product Certification of the status of competitor activity
• Provide monthly reports to Sales & Marketing Manager Product Certification of enquiries received and sales activity and sales forecasts.
• Be an active member of the Product Certification sales & marketing team.


Recruitment Criteria:
• Strong experience in and a demonstrated aptitude for business development and sales management in a professional services environment
• Strong experience in and a demonstrated aptitude for preparing quotes and proposals
• Track record in achieving sales targets
• Track record of successful strategic selling
• Track record in successfully operating in a professional services organization – product certification experience preferred
• Experience in and a demonstrated aptitude for customer service
• Experience in working with and selling to industry associations or other professional services organisations
• Track record in business, marketing and sales planning
